Rachael Trenouth

I bring a calm, caring presence to the Coast Life Midwifery team and I feel deeply honoured to support women through pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood.

I completed my Bachelor of Midwifery at the University of Newcastle and I am an endorsed midwife, offering evidence-based, individualised care across the antenatal, birth, and postnatal journey.

My midwifery experience includes working in a large tertiary hospital birthing suite, where I developed strong clinical skills while caring for women in a complex environment. I have also worked in Midwifery Group Practice, and values the continuity of care model and the meaningful relationships it allows her to build with women and families.

Alongside my ongoing clinical work with Queensland Health, I work with Coast Life Midwifery providing antenatal and postnatal care and offering experienced backup support for home and hospital births when needed.

I am a strong advocate for physiological birth and I am very passionate about helping women feel informed, supported, and empowered to birth in a way that feels right for them. As a mother of four, I understand the profound and transformative nature of this time and I feel privileged to walk alongside women on this journey.
